Got GTAIV today for XBOX360 which unfortunately means I will probably practice less than usual for this weeks FBMW event at Birmaingham !
First impressions are that the game is absolutely huuuge had a quick go at multiplayer which looks to have potential. Graphics are no where near as good as COD4 but that's because the city is about 1000 times bigger than the maps in COD4. Looks like there's a hell of a lot to do so will be busy for a while.
Also got the Racedriver Grid Demo off marketplace which includes 3 cars & 3 tracks including 12 players online. First impressions are good & think I will buy it at the end of may the online code seems very good for a demo.

The older Race Driver games had great online code, but as soon as someone had high ping, his/her car begins to jump around on the track. Sometimes all the cars are jumping, but then you can just go to another server.

How is GTA IV compared to San Andreas, which also had a huge map, think it was a full county.

I only played San Andreas a little as I had a dodgy copy for my PS2 & put it in again the other day whilst I was waiting for GTA4 to arrive.
It isn't supposed to be as big a city as San Andreas but it looks much clearer & crisper & is still huge.
You don't have to do the boring exercise & eating like on San Andreas.
The online games seem crazy but I only had a half hour team deathmatch you can split into more than 2 teams which are colour coded. You can do drive by's and all kind of things that make it hilarious.Trouble is TDM is cash based so if you shoot someone from distance you only get the cash if you run over where they died & collect the money. I kept killing people & then got killed myself before picking up there cash !
Looks like it is going to take months to get anywhere near finishing the game & then you can just go off causing mayhem so it will probably take longer .
