It's been temporarily closed by the hosters due to unsolicited mass mailings being sent out from it. Normal service should be resumed soon when we can upgrade the forum software

Well whoever it was (a hacker) didn't spam the V8 members, just the rest of the world prolly!

I tried to post earlier that I needed a provisional for today's truck race but obviously we cannot use the forum. Hopefully I can work that out later.

Phew! I thought maybe I'd been banned and the admins were giving me a not-so-subtle running off!

well there has been a few a unusual names signed up to the forum, which might be the source but i always thought they got booted.

well at least its up and running again but lloks abit strange with lite blue background.

I'm sorry, but I have to say the "new" forum is horrible! Can't find anything anymore and it's a very confusing design...

I already use a few boards that use that version of phpBB and my first reaction was the same as yours. But, trust me, you'll get used to it.

im sure that will only be temporary, its just good to have the forums back up and running.
