You need to get yourself a better ISP, Neil - I downloaded all 570Mb in about fifteen minutes.

Just given it a very quick blast - it's pretty darn good for a freebie. And I like the street circuit a lot (not tried the roadie yet).

Just been onto AOL for half hour pissed off with stupid Indian call centres asking if I have it all plugged in GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I am getting 17kbps on speedtest & it is giving me less than 20% of what I should be getting in effect 128k instead of 1 mb. Still no joy I have to do 3 speedtests on the BT site over 12 hrs then get back to them if it is still bad to no doubt go thru some Indian for an hour first before getting any proper help.

FInally got my connection back up to a better speed & got the game downloaded in 1hr 20 mins. DOn't think much to the twisty gothenburg track but like the Chayka one, oh and those estates are a blast to drive ! don't think we could have a TE challenge tho as there's no proper multiplayer as far as I can see.

Depends on how the game detects cheats, you'd be surprised how petty some people are. Reminds me of a chap who used to call himself Willander who used to alter the physics file in GTR to get ridiculous times. On the other hand watching people like DD drive made me feel totally hamfisted.
