Lovely bike Dave. Mine was under a blanket too when I first got it, now it's under a blanket of mud! Will you be hitting the mountains with it, or is for commuting? I have a Trek MTB that's getting past its sell by date - I think you've just extended my shopping list. Now, if I can only get the wife to come round to my way of thinking........
