Just about to leave to go to Knockhill for the Scottish round of the British Touring Car Championship. Forecast looks reasonable; at least no chance of sun burn. Will take my camera, so I'll upload any decent pics.

Saw the first 2 races & the end of the 3rd, was good watching onboard after racing there in the TE challenge really shows how fast they o over the kerbs thru the blind turns. Will no doubt go to the penultimate round at Rockingham in september.
Weather looked good Alan hope you had a good day out. |

Had a great day at Knockhill, as always. The touring cars always put on such a great show here. Not sure the support package was as good as other years, though - Ginetta Juniors leave me cold, and I'm not the biggest Porsche fan in the world. But Legends were good.
![]() Don't know how many of you watched the races yesterday, but it was a privilege to witness first hand Jason Plato's extraordinary performance in the third race - started last on the grid and finished 2nd! Amazing stuff, true legend. ![]() BTCC Race 1 Scottish Legends (owner of the 'other' Team Ecosse - Mike Hogg - was in this race) Steve Rider (thankfully, Louise Goodman was nowhere to be seen) Sea King Rescue (demonstration) BTCC Race 2, Lap 1 In the back ground, Knock Hill itself Final race of the day _______________ ![]() |
