I think this game has a lot of potential, as ISI have been given good access to technical data. Some of the drivers tried it at Donington and were very impressed. They said that things like the braking points, speed and revs were near-identical to real life.
There has been some talk that the game will be a freebie, although I hope this isn't the case. With rFactor itself still on sale, they'd no doubt restrict things like modding and online play as a result.

Good news - the game won't just be a freebie, with loads of limitations. A 60-minute time-limited demo will be released alongside the full version before Jarama. Hopefully.

Hopefully. Would be good timing, as it'd provide them with some publicity ahead of the season finale.

Looks like an rFactor mod. Would have to be very good to justify paying for it. Either the cars would have to be fantastic, or it comes with tracks not available elsewhere. Wonder if it will support online play... Hey, Scott, when you gonna race for the team again?

Haha... yeah, they're less forgiving of repeat offenders, Neil. In all honesty, Alan, I haven't found anything I've wanted to play regularly enough since NR2003. Never tried rFactor, though. Most of my gaming these days revolves around Championship Manager 2010 and the Wii.

You thinking of trying this Superleague Formula game Scott ? Also have you given Netkar a go may be worth downloading the demo altho the FF1600 are a handful ?

Just looks like a rFactor mod with some slightly different menus. The cars seem okay to drive but default setups could be better so they need some tweaking. At this price don't think I will be tempted when the 60 min trial is up may be tempted to look to the dark side for a crack if anything to keep playing it. Altho it has online etc I can't see it getting much of an audience as it is priced twice what it should be. NKpro is 10 euros less with more tracks if you include the free addons plus there are 5 different car types. I don't think I even paid 35 euros for rFactor let alone this. The Superleague Formula games looks good. Don't really know anything about Netkar, though.
Initial reviews of the Superleague Formula game are encouraging. I won't be in a position to buy it for another month, however. The price is about what I excepted, although it's strange that it's so much more expensive if you pay in Euros.
