Hi! Now that I have a new computer I'm trying to copy everything I want to have left from the old one. For NR2003, is it possible to just copy over the mods and tracks from the series and track folders? Are there any other files than the ones in the mods/tracks respective folder that I have to bring along? Thanks in advance!

I think that should be fine, Erik. Certainly for the tracks it will be. Coming to think of it, I seem to recall their being a 'proper' order to install the mods, so maybe they do more than just those folders.

Ok, thanks Alan! I'll see if I can find any information on that then, but the tracks'll be fine then... What about rFactor then? I guess the tracks are just to move over but the mods are trickier... what files does the mod come with? (I just want to move one mod so it won't be a very big job anyway) « Last edit by ErikG on Tue Nov 24, 2009 9:16 pm. »

In NR2003 just remember when you run it the first time, it will probably reset any graphics setting you've made in the .ini file. You probably need to reconfigure it after you've first lauched the game once. You can't copy the old file over it, as the graphics device is probably not the same.

Ok thanks Morten. But I intend to re-install the whole game on this computer, as I don't think it's possible just to move all teh files here... But I will check the existing .ini file to see what it looks like and then compare with the original I get when I re-install it.

Probably a dumb point but check that the 2 os's are compatable, I dont know how old the computer is that you're copying from. Well it'll either work or it won't. Sorry for being so helpful.

The easiest way to go about with the .inis would probably be to look in Caspers posts about making NR2003 look good. Then edit the .inis accordingly. BTW I'm actually referring to the link provided in Caspers first post of that thread.
