You could always ask at R2P, Neil. Open up your question to a wider audience.

Your question would be seen by anyone who clicked on 'Community' as it would appear as a reent post. That's how I browse recent activity, anyway. Worth a try. I reckon you'll get responses quickly.

No need to worry about that wheel Paul I just bought one off ebay, not quite a G25 but a Logitech DFP ( I think Alan uses one) £41 inc P&P. Hopefully it will be a step up from the non FFB sidewinder. I was tempted with the Thrustmaster F430 or the newer Logitech DFGT for £100 or £90 respectively.
Maybe next time I'm in the market for a newer wheel I will splash the cash a little more, not really doing enough racing to justify it at the minute. |

Yup, same wheel as mine, Neil. Nice price. You'll love it.

Any advice on setting it up Alan ? I have already downloaded the 508 drivers from the logitech site. Do you install the drivers first then the plug the wheel in or the other way around ? I think it comes in the original box but as it is a PS2 wheel & not PC it won't tell you these things. Also downloaded the ReeFeel plugin for rFactor, can't wait to see what I've been missing all these years ! |

Just been scouring ebay & found an even bigger bargain for a DFP if anyone needs a cheap wheel & isn't already using one as good as this or better.Shame I didn't see it yesterday ! £30 inc P&P

Don't think it'll make any difference, to be honest. Just install the drivers/Logitech Gaming Software now and your wheel will be good to go out of the box. Or not, if it doesn't come with one. ![]() _______________ ![]() |
