Bought it last week on XBOX after owning the first 2 in the series for PS2 and PC. Have to say altho not totally realistic this game is great fun to drive. I love the openwheel pro career series where you start in karts then FFord, F1000,FBMW,FPalmer Audi,F3 ,F1 some real great racing. Also the Oval series is not too bad with sprintcars craftsmen Trucks,Indycar then Nascar.plus a few others I forgot. Also add to that all the Gt's Touring cars ,classics plus loads of weird ones such as monster trucks and rallying & there's something for everyone. My PC played TRD2 badly as the spec isn't too good so got this one on XBOX & it looks and plays a dream I only wish I had XBOX live. Anyone else got it yet or thinking about it ?

Thinking about it yes, not TRD3, but XBOX360 and ProjectGothamCity3, seems really nice, visually! And there is a wheel coming right now in the same price range as DFP/Momo... Plenty of money though to get it all! Toca2, I never tried but trailer before release was nice! And your description sounds nice about TRD3! Since Iīm on a pretty low budget and purchased my new PC last year I guess there will be a game from Iracing, Rfactor, Kart or something in the future! Btw, tried Need For Speed Most Wanted demo but thereīs not much driving/handling fun at all!

I won't be buying it, but that's simply because I barely find the time to play NR2003 (and rFactor and GPL) these days. I had TRD2 for my PC and it ran like a dream. Had huge fun racing FFords online for a few months in 2004. Somewhat like GPL, which was probably why I liked them so much. But eventually I became fed up with all the wreckers and the like who would ruin races. Net code seemed good, but no ability to permanently ban wreckers (only kick them from server for them to rejoin two seconds later) really pissed me off in the end. Probably the same as racing open servers on Sierra - you need an organised league to ensure driving standards are good, but trying to find like minded individuals was next to impossible. Most folk just wanted to play dodgems with the DTM cars. Ah well. One night it all got too much for me. I quit the game and had my copy on eBay minutes later. Asked Scott about V8Thunder, bought myself NR2003, and the rest is history.

I tried the TRD3 single demo, the game didnīt see my wheel!? Then someone told about Starforce, itīs a copyprotection software that installs on your pc silently without your knowing... and it runs in the background making legally backups impossible, yes it affects not only the specific game copying, or slowing down your cd/dvd player, it is reported! It came with TRD3... Check this list of games with Starforce http://www.glop.org/starforce/list.phpAnd this is the tool to remove the shit http://www.onlinesecurity-on.com/protect.phtml?c=55« Last edit by Peter on Sat Apr 01, 2006 9:27 pm. »
