Nick, just wanted to wish you all the best for your spotting debut this weekend. I'm sure this will be one of the more memorable weekends of your life (as opposed to the June meeting which will pass us all by thanks to a plethora of alcohol!). Let us know how it goes.

Thanks Alan, I have mixed thoughts about this weekend. On the one hand I'm really looking forward to it, but on the other, I haven't had much interaction with Tony since I joined the team and I'm a bit nervous as the first chance we'll have together will be a fast and furious session where everyone's getting back up to race pace and mentality.

Ok, an update to the weekend.
It started off fairly sedately, we weren't due to go out until 4:15 pm, then there was an incident at the entrance to pitlane with the cheif scrutinier which meant we were delayed for a long time, finally getting on track around 5ish. Then we did a few laps, scrubbing in the tyres after winter and pulled it in. Sunday was a great day for us, with a high of 10th position in the second race. _______________ Life is a gift, don't abuse it. #80 Offspring/BDS Tuning Holden Lites #80 Offspring/BDS Tuning Nissan Trucks www.v8thunder.com |
