I'm going to be at Rockingham on Sunday 23rd April for the BTCC meeting. Will be my first trip to my local oval since mid-2005. Any other TE guys gonna be there?

Bizarrelly enough, when I bought my train tickets this morning, it was cheaper to get two first-class singles than a standard return! Makes no sense at all.

Unfortunately also my daughter's birthday so unless she wants to see the BTCC for a present I'll not be there!

It is a bit of a trek from the south west of England (I know, more so from Scotland). I go to Castle Combe as it is only 45 minutes away.

I would love to however, if my missus is working im looking after my toddler, plus a couple of weeks later im in cardiff for the rugby league weekend so need to save the pennies for that one.

Doubt I can make it, pity.

I will be there Alan at my local circuit ( 8 miles away at the minute, hopefully just 3 miles by the time of the BTCC meeting ! ) I may even go to the media day on March 13th to watch the testing as it's free admission.

March 13th isn't even a possibility as I'll be in Portugal...oh well

Train tickets are fine. I think that's why I got the date wrong, 'cos I'd just booked them and my return is on the 23rd.

Haven't bought tickets for the race meeting yet. But I believe the tickets may be for specific seats but you sit anywhere.

He is getting the train to Peterborough. I will leave the track after BTCC qual to go and collect him.

I have been to Corby a few times; for the CART races, and also the Coy's Historic Festival in May 2001, which was good. But, the current format of the BTCC isn't sufficiently tempting to me, much as I would enjoy meeting up with you all.

I believe the current plan is for folk to meet at the 'rock' between the main grandstand and T1 during the lunch break. But there's nothing to stop folk meeting before that, since I imagine most will be in T1 area anyway.
