I did place quite an inventive bet, but didn't get any money out of it (not that I care!). Interestingly, you could have got 750-1 on the score being 3-3 at full time, with Maldini scoring first.

It was a wonderful game of football - the match was an all time classic. This is something people will not forget. The scenes in Istanbul were fantastic. I really would have loved to have been there. And reports state that around half a million people came out for the open top bus parade in Liverpool today.

The cup has returned home and we've proven to be the best team at the highest level of club football.
