Went along to the Knockhill Touring Cars meeting today, my first visit to Scotland's only race track since 2004 (correct me if I'm wrong, Scott - it was the one you came up for). Missed the first couple of races due to queues of traffic getting into the circuit, but was there in plenty of time for the first BTCC race.

All three touring car races were good fun, with plenty of action to follow. The support races were good too. Seemed to be a strong crowd, and everyone went home happy following Shedden's victory in Race 3.

Only complaint was the weather - it was dry enough, and sunny enough, but it was bitterly cold thanks to the wind chill factor. Brrr.

I would have happily traded you weather, it was 131 degrees in the parking lot at fontana, before the race, as in 55C. No joke, it was so hot I thought I was going to melt into a puddle, then burst into flames, and then blow away on the non-existant breeze. People were being taken away in ambulances, for heat stroke. No spoilers Steve!
