Nintendo seem to have done it again with the Wii Fit. It's something I'll probably end up buying at some point during the year.

Also, I've noticed the reviews on Amazon and Play have been speaking extremely highly of Pro Evo 2008 on the Wii - many referring to it as being the next generation in football games. I like the sound of being able to control players off the ball. This seems like a major change, especially given the tiny differences we usually see between both FIFA and Pro Evo releases.

yes i got that i like the idea of the controls after a few goes you do pick it up. Its a little confusing on a 2 player game with the icons on the screen but its not too bad.

How much is a Wii and Wii Fit? Might be interested myself as I'm getting too fat.

I did search around online but most places are out of stock, best price I found was close to £300 for both which seems a bit steep. Cheaper than joining a gym though and more fun!

Might nip out and get one tomorrow then, I've got some money due from www.quidco.com that would just about cover that.

Cheers!

And you can get Guitar Hero for the Wii too, a few of the guys at work are addicted to that at the moment.

Sad bastards.

That's part of the reason I'm not going to get it just yet. I've been told it can take a little getting used to, and the last thing I need right now is a new challenge to occupy my spare time.

This might just be a UK thing, I think. I was speaking to an American recently who was living over here for a couple of months, and they were surprised by just how much more expensive gyms are.

By the way, if you don't manage to get yourself sorted at Morrisons, the Wii and Wii Fit is available with a 1GB SD card from Gamestation, for £249:
