I feel tempted to buy another sim. Not sure why, as you'd think I had enough, but there you go... My options: Race '07 (World Touring Cars) - http://www.race-game.org/race07/index.phpACTC (Argentine Touring Cars) - http://tc.2pez.com.arBoth are used at Race2Play, which would give me more opportunities to race than I currently have. Or should I not be so silly and concentrate on the sims I have?

I've been quite tempted by Race '07. It's not expensive and it gives us options for after the FBMW season

Simulador Turismo Carretera is great. I've been tempted to get myself a copy for a few weeks. Can't comment on Race '07 unfortunately, as I'm unable to run it.

Scott, why don't you buy it, sign up for Race2Play, and go racing?

$38 via PayPal. I downloaded the demo (actually the full game, but you can only play it for an hour until you unlock it) overnight. Installed it, but not yet given it a try. Will do so later, most likely.

Or £21 via TryMedia. I've given the demo a go. Looks good, but really hard to know for sure when you have one eye on the clock. Default setup is pretty rubbish, though, which means you waste time in the garage rather than on track. It's definitely not as 'polished' as rFactor, but as it is based on the same sim engine, it's all very familiar. Undecided for now...

Given I hadn't spent any money on a sim since buying rFactor over two years ago, I decided to just go ahead and buy the ACTC sim (for £19.79 via PayPal). Sim-racing has been a cheap hobby for me recently, so I don't really mind taking a chance with this title. As a result of forthcoming R2P races using this mod, I have finally opened the Touring Car division within...

I'm going to concentrate on GTR 2 at the moment, but will probably give the ACTC sim some more thought in another month, or so.
